WendyVF Posted April 26, 2011 #26 Share Posted April 26, 2011 We were on this sailing also. I had read about all the "crowd" issues but didn't feel they were any worse than any other ship we had been on in the last few years. The buffet lines were long in places but we always found if we walked to the back or even the other side that the wait was much shorter. I think people get to the first one and just stop. I love that they have the omelet stations in the middle and roped off...now if they only went to the ticket number system like on RCCL. We ate at the pasta place twice and enjoyed it both times. Once was on the last day around 1:15-1:30. I was expecting a wait but there was no line. The tables were about 3/4 full. I really think the crowd issues vary greatly. The line for the hamburgers would be nonexistant at 11:50 and then way backed up by 12:05. We learned to not wait until we were starving and would judge the lines and decide if we were going to eat then or not.
4kids3dogs2cats&fish Posted April 26, 2011 #27 Share Posted April 26, 2011 From what I've heard on the boards, because Dream is so large, on particulary windy days it's too hard get it to the dock, because at Roatan, nost of ths ships have to turn around and back in. That's what side thrusters are for.
