Cab/Taxi from airport Hilton to POM

We're staying at the airport Hilton and instead of paying for a shuttle we'd like to take a cab to POM. My thought is if I use cabs vs. shuttle we can get there earlier. I'm just wondering if I need to make arrangements ahead of time, or will we just be able to call a cab that morning? Also, we've got 6 people plus luggage....will we need 2 cabs?

Hotel desk will call cabs for you. You will need two. About $30+tip each to the port.

You will want to plan on two cabs.

 

I would ask at the front desk how much lead time they will need to get you the two cabs.
