Are Corkscrews Provided in your Cabin

If we bring wine with us as it states we can do we need to also bring a corkscrew if we want to drink it in our room or is one provided?

It took our steward a couple days, but he was able to sneak us one. They are a rare item =) I think I will just pack mine on our next cruise since it won't take up much space.

I've never seen a corkscrew provided in the cabin.

you can just pack one. easier than waiting for your cabin steward to get you one

No corkscrew is provided, you must bring your own. You can get wine glasses from your room stewart or from any bar on board. we always carry one in our suitcase, in fact it stays in there just in case we forget to pack one. Have fun and happpy cruiseing.

We have a small one that the handle removes and stores over the screw part, and have had it go through security as a carry on many times at the airport. We got a couple at about a buck apiece so if they do want to take it away we haven't lost much, but so far it hasn't been a problem.

I've just asked my room steward (several times on different cruises) and they have always brought me one very quickly. Made a nice little souvenier for my "cruise virgin" friend on one cruise.

Just pack 1 is the easiest way. DW and I always keep 1 in our luggage for just this reason.

I pack one. When I didn't I was told to call room service.

Room stewart gave me 1 as soon as I ask. It is really neat, the part that covers the screw part comes off and you insert it into the top and it becomes the handle. It has Carnival on the cover part. Really cool.

 

But forgot that it was in my purse when I went for jury duty and had to take it back out to the car. You should have seen the way the officers were looking at the xray machine. It took me a second to realise what it was...:p
