Your pictures brought back fond memories of the great times I had while staying at the Mainz Hilton in Mainz, Germany on business. The cruise boats dock directly behind the hotel and I’ve taken the cruise between Mainz and Koblenz many, many times. In my opinion, this is the most beautiful section of the Rhine River. All of the little towns and medieval castles that dot the river provide for some wonderful scenery. Rudesheim and St. Goarhausen are two of my favorite towns. I loved wondering around the Altstadt section of Mainz and eating at some of its great German restaurants. Thanks for sharing.
