What's the weather like?

We will be in Barbedos next week and looking at the 10 day weather forcast...it looks like rain. But then again, it looked like rain the past 2 weeks. I am soggy there's been so much rain in Ohio lately...am really hoping for some dry, hot, sunny weather next week. What's it doing right now? Does anyone know?

For the last 2 wks. or so, it has been cloudy-overcast with showers.

Showers this time of year (allegedly-Dry Season!) are usually brief and not heavy

-that stuff comes later in the year.

 

The lower Caribbean has had a moisture stream ex-Venezuela..

..trending across the islands for the last 2 wks.

but that can change at any time!

 

This morning broke with blue skies, and it seems to be staying that way?

By far the sunniest, most guaranteed-to-be-sunny beach is Rockley/Accra

even if the rest of the island is cloudy or raining

- a micro-climate thing,locally..

 

Truth is, if it's high-cloudy you won't burn, skies won't be photographic-blue

but it probably won't rain either, other than briefly.

 

We often get early morning showers here, that are gone by about 10 a.m.

 

All is not lost...just don't expect Perfect Weather -not this year.
