How do you like the Duvet ?

We are wondering just how you like the bed made with a duvet, while on your Carnival cruise ?

It is way too warm for us & we have the bed re-made, like at home with a top & bottom sheet along with a light blanket.

What do you guys prefer ?

I hate them. Way too hot. Too much like the comforters I use on cold winter nights in Wisconsin - not a feeling I want to have in the Caribbean. After several cruises with uncomfortable nights, I have learned to ask for a top sheet and a blanket.

Hehe, I find it funny that people go to the Caribbean or Mexico and like the heat but complain that their bedding is too warm!

I like it very cool in the bedroom for sleeping at night can't sleep if it is too warm in the room.

It is also too hot for us. We have to ask that the bed be changed to just a light sheet and blanket. We use a comforter at home, but the temps can get into the 30's during the night.

My husband can't stand the heavy duvet. We take along a fleece throw and he sleeps on top of the duvet.

The bug duvets are what ALL of us use in the UK so I guess we dont know any different!

I travel alone, and so the duvet gives me a sense that there IS someone there, all wrapped around me, and I LOVE it!!!!!!!!

I actually don't like duvets at home but on the ones on the cruise are so comfy. When I get too warm I just use the sheet and pull the duvet down.

TOO hot, even with the air cranked as low as it will go. I usually just ask for a sheet and blanket from the steward.
