How often do 1/2 price deposits come around?

I am in the middle of getting a group together for our first NCL cruise. The first hurdle is going to be everyone coming up with the $250/pp deposit needed to deposit.

 

I have heard that NCL will sometimes offer a 1/2 price deposit sale. Does anyone know how often these come around? Once, twice a year? Once a quarter?

This is exactly what I'm looking for! I've never been on NCL, but I'm considering the Epic for 2013 since I see they already have pricing available.

Ask your travel agent to have NCL give her/him a 1/2 deposit sale that will be good for 1 week so all your peeps can book in that time frame and take advantage of 1/2 deposit.

 

Or if someone is sailing buy a bunch of cruise rewards. They are transferable and are good for a $250 deposit per cabin - not person.

The $250 deposit is the half price rate per stateroom. I have seen the half price sale twice this year already.

They do half price alot but it doesnt actualy help you save anything. With fuel steadily going up its posible that waiting for another half deposit sale could make your actual fare be higher. I dont expect much of a rise but $20-$30 a person adds up in a group.
