The Upsell Fairy Called Me and My Buddy !

We (My buddy and I ) are leaving on the Imagination this coming Monday for my 40th B-Day cruise and both booked Penthouse Suites (The old Cat 12's:rolleyes:). I got the call first that they wanted to upsell me one of the two private Owners Suites that are 1,000sq ft in size and overlook the pool deck.. Before the Upsell Fairy could finish the offer I interupted and said clear as a bell "I'm interested if you will take only and extra $100.00 a day for for it".. She kind of laughed and said that the price was going to be $350.00 MORE PER DAY:eek::D! It was then MY TURN TO LAUGH and respectfully declined:D.. She then hung up from me and called my buddy who's Suite was next to mine.. He shot her down before she could even make the offer..I'm sure she got someone though in the end..I just couldn't justify and extra $1,400 for a 4 night cruise..Just thought I would share this story with you great folks :)!
