Venice / Dream Class odd shaped Cabin Divider questions

I’m considering booking the Breeze and have a few questions; What side of the ship has a better view in the port of Venice? That’s assuming they dock in the same position which I thought I read somewhere they do in Venice. Do the balconies dividers open in Cabins; 6468 & 6460 or 6499 & 6493 (Aft large balcony odd shaped cabin). Thanks much!

Can't address the cabin divider issues, but as to Venice - when sailing into Venice, San Marcos square (the classic view of Venice) will be off the starboard side. When setting to sea, it will be the opposite. Either way, ya' can't go wrong. Check your itinerary to see when you're more likely to be up and about. Although, you may want to be up on the open deck for a more broad view.

When we were on the Freedom and sailed into Venice, they had Pavarotti playing on the big screen and his music flowing with us into port. It was especially poignant since that was the day of his funeral (although it was not in Venice). It was a fabulous day!
