Spirit Stateroom Help

Considering our first cruise on Carnival. Thinking of booking a back to back on the Spirit to Hawaii in 2006.

Since it would be 24 days, we would like a nice sized cabin. We are thinking a 9A. Which ones are good and which should we avoid? It looks like the Veranda deck would be quiet. Also, some of the 8G's look interesting, especially 7300. Can you share the differences in layouts with me? We don't like the staterooms that are really narrow with the bed at the balcony end. We would also consider a suite if there are any that really stand out.

Thanks for your expert opinions!
