Tell me your favorite things about Miracle

Recommended Posts

The layout and overall size are superb, as is the case with the other Spirit-class ships. Just big enough, but not overwhelming, and easy access to just about all points all over the ship.

DH and I were on her in Feb. I had to see why everyone liked her so much. The first day after lunch on the Lido we checked out the ship. I was like OK it's nice but so are all the other ships we've been on. We were on a 8 night cruise. The week went on and I just fell in love with her, crazy decorations and all. Just had the best time, the staff was awesome, I even liked the cruise director. We had such a great time we booked the same balcony room for Feb 2012 why we were on the ship. It is such a comfortable ship and a great fit for us. Have great fun on your cruise!! Lynn Anne

i have been on the spirit and legend which are identical to the miracle which i will be on soon. the best thing about the spirit class is the lido is all pure deck to enjoy with 3 pools. no cabins on the lido like the other bigger ships which basically cuts the lido in half.

Oh jeez...where to begin? Everything about this ship is fabulous!

---It's perfectly laid out, you will never lose your way

---the crew is among the best

---the public areas are inviting, spacous

---love love love the aft pool

---love cabin 8271

---it's my very favorite ship in the Carnival fleet...am just getting ready to book my 3rd Miracle cruise for fall 2011!!

You'll have a great time!

I love that the Miracle leaves out of NYC, has the feeling of being less crowded, loved room 7299 which was sort of like a mini-suite and room 7258 with the huge balcony. I also loved the Mad Hatters lounge....just a really neat place.

Besides the great layout, the cruise director Malcolm (WooHoo) and the maitre d both really make the cruise. I also loved the ship models in the lido dining room. Over 20 of them showing cross sections of merchant and slave ships over the centuries. The food stations are spread out over the lido so the lines were quite short most of the time. The mad hatters ball lounge is a must see.

cruisenanny, we're going in September, too! Are you on the 11th or the 27th?

Seeing all the great things people are writing about this ship makes me even happier that this is the ship we picked for our first cruise!

We've been on the Miracle twice, once in 2009 and once in 2010. We're heading back on her for a third time in Sep. What does that tell you? Short story, ask away. Hopefully I'll be able to answer your questions.

My favorite thing about Miracle (and all Spirit Class) is that the Aft Lido (adult pool area) is open to the sea, not enclosed by glass like most of the others...pure heaven! Miracle also has a few cabins with "bowling alley" balconies...look on the port side on either side of the aft elevators. We had 7258 on the Legend last year and have 8232 on the Miracle on Saturday. As others have said, the layout is great, the staff we had last May was phenomenal, and the food was very good! Have fun!

Here's that great balcony (and I apologize if the pic comes out really large:o)

I am SO GLAD we are booked on this ship both in June and again in September....... we originally booked for convenience, ie to sail out of NYC but since we've booked I've been reading nothing but VERY positive comments about this ship. Any comments on the casino....how it compares to the casino on other ships ?? Are there any assigned tables in the main dining rm just for 2 people ? Thanks...Lynn

I asked Carnival when I booked & was told that there are, we just can't request them until we board & speak to the maitre d. I called back with some other questions & asked about the table for 2 again just to confirm & was told by a SUPER nice agent, ""wink wink" I'll put a note in your reservation that you want a table for 2"...... We shall see! Worth a shot, nothing to lose:)

This.

And there is a really good staff/guest ratio which seems to insure great service. I love all the Spirit class ships. Lots of activities that are easy to get too, really good shows and musicians, good food, big ship with small ship feel. Enjoy your trip!! Oh, and right after you get aboard ship, you can go to the maitre'd and request a table for 2-- at least you could a year ago. Did I mention I really like this ship??

The Miracle is my absolute favorite ship. I loved that the public areas are smaller and more intimate then the larger ships so the ship never felt crowded. I loved the Gatsby's Garden indoor promenade which was a great place to sit indoors and read or look out the windows. The Punchliner's Comedy Club was a great alternative entertainment.

We are crusing on Miracle on 7/1/11 for our daughter's Sweet 16 (in lieu of a party). We are going with 3 families, all whose daughters are also turning 16. How can I make this cruise more special? Do you recommend having the room decorated before we arrive? Any other suggestions? All your help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
