cruisinnannie Posted May 10, 2011 #2 Share Posted May 10, 2011 Brand new to Cruise Critic. Rather picky about mattresses and their inherent qualities, i.e. sagging,(hammocking), hard, firm, pillowtop. What can all you experts tell me about Celebrity in general, and the Eclipse specifically? Sheets? Duvets? We were on the Eclipse for two weeks in Feb.-March 2011 and the mattress was wonderful. It was firm and had a pillowtop and the pillows were also great. We were on the Constellation in March and the mattress was ok and were on the Summit in April and the mattress was terrrible, saggy and it felt like I might roll off the bed. One would hope they get new mattresses when they refurbish the Summit in 1/2012, but I doubt it as the mattress on the Connie was not new. Rooms on all three ships were C. Class. Have a great cruise. excitedofharpenden Posted May 10, 2011 #3 Share Posted May 10, 2011 I have found the mattresses on Eclipse to be very comfortable. Not like a deep mattress you'd have at home, but pretty good nonetheless. Sheets and a duvet are the norm and plenty of pillows. Phil
