Couple of questions

Recommended Posts

We embark on the Victory out of San Juan on Saturday. Questions are as follows:

1) Can I bring a regular wine opener in my checked baggage? I went to Wal Mart looking for a plastic one and apparently they were out. Will they confiscate a metal one?

2) Shoes for MDR on non formal nights. I'm bringing dress shoes for formal night but do not want to wear those on other occassions. Are sneakers ok? What about Tevas?

Thanks,

Snickerbilly

My parents got their opener on with out issue but your room steward will bring you one if you request it. Sneakers or Tevas would be allowed, the dress code has steadily gone downhill over the years.

I had my metal wine openers from Intercontinental I was saving both confiscated.

I have also had trouble with ordinary scissors.

I dont see why they would confiscate them, but arguing was getting me no where and the xray person in Miami insisted ... I let them have them. drat.. :(
