2 People in a "Triple" Room - ?

The husband and I are booked in a room on Deck 7 that can fit 3. We were informed upon booking this room that if they need it for a party of 3, they could boot us (which is fine, of course.... it's a risk you take, I guess).

 

She said they still had plenty of rooms in that category open for triples so didn't anticipate much of a "boot risk." Well, that category is now sold out. She assured me when we booked that if we had to be moved, it would be the same category or better. Does anyone know this to be true? I've decided I'm not too picky about where we are on the ship (aft vs. mid vs. forward) but I don't want to go back down to deck 6 directly over the casino or other clubs. ;)

Had it happen to me. Gave me the same category but so far forward I didn't want it. It was a fight to the death I'll tell you that much to get it back.

(g) Specific stateroom assignments are not guaranteed. Carnival reserves the right to move Guests to a comparable stateroom for any reason, including but not limited to, instances in which a stateroom is booked with fewer than the maximum number of Guests the stateroom can accommodate; or when a partial Guest cancellation occurs and the remaining number of Guests do not match the maximum number of Guests the stateroom can accommodate.

 

You can take that how you want. "Comparable" to me seems like they could put you in any inside, if you booked inside, or oceanview to oceanview, etc.

Had it happen to me. Gave me the same category but so far forward I didn't want it. It was a fight to the death I'll tell you that much to get it back.

We're also booked in one of the "triple rooms". I'm not concerned about being booted. I'll still be CRUISIN'!!

I just was in a triple (and I was solo), and hadnt looked good at the deck plans, so it was a surprise to see a upper bunk, but it wasnt in my way luckily
