adios Posted March 15, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2005 Going on the Grandeur in a few weeks. Where is the cheapest parking? I've seen several sites that offer $12 per day. Can I beat that?
sandsand Posted March 15, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 15, 2005 I don't know about beating the price but you can't beat the convenience of parking for the Grandeur. You will be guided to the "whale lot" where porters are waiting to help you unload. After you hand off your luggage you park and walk through a gate and over the trolley tracks just a few feet to check in. It's the easiest parking I've ever done for a cruise. Alibaster McGillicutty Posted March 15, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 15, 2005 I remember seeing whales but I don't recall where those are. I have been on the Grandeur (RCI) and the Conquest (CCL) and pulled right up to the doors, unloaded and handed the bags off to the porters, then drove over a couple blocks to the Fulton Street garage. We are going on the Grandeur again next month but I have heard that has changed. I think $12/day is what we paid too.
truffles2 Posted March 15, 2005 #4 Share Posted March 15, 2005 Take the cruise special at the Hilton Riverside, walk to the pier, and get free parking (covered) for the week.

truffles2 Posted March 16, 2005 #6 Share Posted March 16, 2005 Stay the night before for $99 + parking ($22?) and park free for the rest of the week. Never saw it advertised anywhere but learned about it on the NO board. We used it last Nov/Dec. Very nice hotel.
