Celebrating40 Posted May 15, 2011 #1 Share Posted May 15, 2011 Ok, maybe it's me. I am online at Carnival.com and am in the Bon Voyage section. Why can't I find the liquor selections?? This is what I have to choose from on the left hand side menu: Most Popular Items Special Occasions Occasions Cakes Fun-Wear Gourmet Delights Flowers Just For Kids Specialty Items Wine Cellar Apparel Weddings & Romance Formal Wear Rentals Am I missing something? Can you not order the alcohol online? And if not, does someone have a price list / selection list? Help? LOL Thanks, in advance!
LitchfieldParkCruisers Posted May 15, 2011 #2 Share Posted May 15, 2011 You are missing one thing..a telephone, because you have to call bon voyage for the booze...I am not sure of the number, but if you do a search on the boards, it will show up. We have done the pre order in the past and it's great...it's a nice savings over individual prices and if you want a quick cocktail in your cabin, you have it and don't have to run up to the bar!! Have a great trip...!!!!!

Arizona cruisers Posted May 15, 2011 #4 Share Posted May 15, 2011 The number is 1-800-522-7648 Mach has posted the list and prices a few times...you may want to do a search. We usually get our Absolut Citron for $40...waiting for us in the cabin. Love it! I think I remember reading that they will eventually put the list online so that you can order that way, but until then you have to call. Enjoy! Celebrating40 Posted May 15, 2011 Author #5 Share Posted May 15, 2011 Thank you, folks, for the quick reply. I will be sure to call and place our order. Have friends who are daring and are thinking rum runners, but I'd rather just play it safe and have it waiting in the cabin. The person I am dating, coincidentally, were already going on the same cruise before we met. How's that for fate? After a little juggling of cabins and friends, we are now staying in the same cabin. Want to have Dewar's waiting for her when we arrive as it is her favorite.:D
evlone Posted May 15, 2011 #6 Share Posted May 15, 2011 I sailed on the Splendor May 1st and used this service. below is what was delivered to my cabin. I know it might be too complicated but I would like to see a policy that allowed one to bring on board any liquor not offered through the Bon Voyage department. They could charge a fee similar to the wine corkage charge. It would have to be preapproved prior to boarding and even prepaid. Just wishfull thinking ?;)
LETS PARTY Posted May 15, 2011 #7 Share Posted May 15, 2011 Can you order bottles when your on the ship?
OCMama Posted May 15, 2011 #8 Share Posted May 15, 2011 Thank you for providing the list. Does anyone know what size the bottles are? I'm particularly interested in the Patron silver.
Chevy57 Posted May 15, 2011 #9 Share Posted May 15, 2011 They are liter bottles. Hope this helps.
OCMama Posted May 15, 2011 #10 Share Posted May 15, 2011 Wow, almost double the cost. Oh well, I'd rather be safe than sorry. At least it's a better value than ordering individual drinks.
MMastell Posted May 15, 2011 #11 Share Posted May 15, 2011 If there is a liquor that is not on the list don't be afraid to ask. I was able to get a bottle of Peach Schnapps for my daughter for our upcoming cruise. Total cost for the Schnapps $42.80. Take care, Mike
LETS PARTY Posted May 16, 2011 #12 Share Posted May 16, 2011 Can you order bottles when your on the ship? Anyone Know? Can you buy bottles from room Service?
bcs819 Posted May 16, 2011 #13 Share Posted May 16, 2011 i second the reminder to ask for what you want even if it si not on the list. I was able to order a bottle of Soutehrn Comfort for our 5/22 cruise, it's not on any list I have ever seen. As to ordering from Room Service, it appears to be hit or miss depending on the ship. I would just order thru BV. We will be taking an empty rum runner to bring home any extras rather than worry about the weight of the glass on the plane. Jo in AZ Posted May 27, 2011 #17 Share Posted May 27, 2011 When you call and order alcohol to be delivered on board is this applied to a credit card immediately or is it added to your on board account? Thanks!
MMastell Posted May 27, 2011 #18 Share Posted May 27, 2011 You need to pay, by credit card, at time of order. Take care, Mike
