Tendering in the Med on Dream/Magic/Breeze

Can anyone give advice on Mediterranean ports? We are looking at booking on Carnival Breeze next summer, but our TA advises that this big ship will have to do a lot of tendering and slow things down. Ports of call w/be Athens, Izmir, Messina (Sicily), Olbia (Sardinia), Rome (Civitavecchia), Livorno (Florence/Pisa),

Monaco, Marseilles, France.

 

I'm thinking Monaco is a tendered port for sure. Can anyone advise?

Just for starters the 3 Ships you named are sister ships & are pretty much the same size.Around 130,000 tons.We have taken about 8 Med cruises & it seems to us that most of the time tendering is done if the port is already full of other ships with a few exceptions.most of the ports you named have proper docking facilities.

When we did the Med on the Freedom we docked in Monaco at a nice new dock.

Yes, I know. Hoping to find someone who has sailed Magic or Dream on this route, and thereby extrapolate re the Breeze. My TA thinks that some of these ports might be unable to accommodate this class, even if there was dock space. Just not sure.
