Has anyone been there and did you like it? We are going to Bermuda June 12th on the Gem and thought we might check this out. Any thoughts?

we hit the beach the 1st day, since we had our baby with us and wanted to check our local places first. it's a nice small madmade beach. nice and clean and clsoe to the ship. but you had to pay to get in, i think 5 or 6 dollars pp and to rent chairs was $15, which was very pricey.

it wasnt terrible by any means and they have food and drinks there, but we didnt stay long since the weather was crappy. lmk if you have any other questions.

It's a small man-made beach. Not even comparable to Horseshoe Bay. We went on the last day, so we didn't have to worry about getting a ferry or bus back to the ship.

Horseshoe Bay is not to be missed! We spent the whole day there on the Thursday of our cruise. On Friday, DD and DH went on a kayak excursion, so I ventured on my own to Snorkle Park - because I wanted to be certain to be back to the ship in time. It didn't compare to Horseshoe Bay, but it was fine for a day at the beach. I paid for a lounge chair, but did not bother with an umbrella. The bottom of the water was rocky, compared to Horseshoe Bay, which was smooth as silk, but the water was clear and pleasant. I enjoyed a Rum Swizzle, my book, and some conversation with a nice family. It was perfect for a "solo outing"....

We used it to relax after a shipwreck snorkeling trip earlier in the day. I got a good burger at the counter and the beach was nice. We swam a little bit, kayaked and peddled boated before we had to be back on the boat. I'm sure that it's not one of Bermuda's best beaches, but it did the trick and a beach, is a beach, is a beach to me: sand, water, salt, sun etc. I get it. Some are fancier than others and have more bells and whistles, but I enjoyed it. Pretty cool to have a giant stone fort on your right side too for some interesting scenery.
