Multiple Ships in GT...

If you are the 2nd ship to dock and your plans are to just enjoy the pool area at the pier you will have difficulties finding a lounge chair poolside. As for the beach if you walk just 100' away from the beach complex there is a beach hut bar with lounges along with less expensive food and drink.

With 2 ships it will be crowded. As for that ruining the experience, it should not, though that could depend on what you plan to do. Yes, the pool and Margaritaville, and the main beach will be packed, and the shops will probably be rather busy. If you move off the main beach, you will have more elbow room. If you go on an excursion, then other than the people on the excursion, you would not have a crowd.

Last time we were there we were supposed to be the only ship in Grand Turk. As we arrived at the dock, the Carnival Miracle was already alongside the quay. Apparantly they had missed several ports due to avoiding storms and were able to get into Grand Turk.

While the pool and Margarittaville were swamped with people, there were still chairs free on the beach and we had no trouble getting a table by the bar at Jack's.

It is possible that very few of the folks on the Miracle knew about Jack's as Grand Turk was not on their itinerary, but there was still about 1/2 and 1/2 folks there from our ship and the Miracle.
