noslen3333 Posted May 22, 2011 #1 Share Posted May 22, 2011 Normally the Conquest is in port this morning. No sign of her. Anyone know why it is late coming into port?
*Mach* Posted May 22, 2011 #2 Share Posted May 22, 2011 Given her current position and speed she'll likely be along side at Galveston around 8 AM... perhaps a bit earlier. No reason known for the slight delay but there was a Coastie SAR boat, the Venturous... Could be a possible report of someone overboard but the SAR boat has already departed...

prattmom Posted May 22, 2011 #5 Share Posted May 22, 2011 Read on Facebook that they encountered some rough seas and were slowed just bit. All the better for me as I got to catch her come in on the webcam :)
JRock59 Posted May 22, 2011 #6 Share Posted May 22, 2011 We got off her this morning, did not have rough or bad seas. We were told yesterday that because of sailing against a strong current we would be delayed about an hour. The last 2 nights were the only time the entire Cruise we were rocked to sleep every other night it was smooth sailing. And yes we did have to stop off Key West on the 2nd sea day for the USGC to come out and evac a person who had a health issue. Didn't delay us more tha an hour and we made it up over night to arrive in Nassau on time the next morning.
