Adventure Ocean 3-5 Group

I heard that AO gives you a DECT phone to use if your child is in the 3-5 group. Does anyone know if you have the phone for the entire trip? Or do you get the phone when you check yoru child into AO, and then drop it off when the session is over?

 

Also, I know there is no AO the first night. Does anyone know if there is in-cabin babysitting available the first night?

We just returned from the Oasis with our 3 yr old son. I am working on a review for it. :)

 

The DECT phone was great! Go to AO on the first day and they will give you one. You can use it the entire cruise. We didn't realize this and brought walkie talkies with us--we never used them. The phone was great for meeting up on the ship and calling the room, in addition to being able to call AO or have them call you.

 

I can't help you on the in-cabin babysitting as we did not use it.

Are DECT phones only offered on Oasis, or do they have them on the Freedom as well?? Traveling in ONE WEEK!!! with my 4 year old son.....
