royalcruz - FLL hotel question for you

Recommended Posts

My in-laws have put me in charge of picking the hotel for the day before the cruise. I was thinking of the Hilton FLL Beach Resort but was wondering if you have any other suggestions? Something nice but not that expensive ($125 or so) with a few restaurant choices within walking distance and a place to talk a walk after dinner.

Any help is greatly appreciated (the preasure is on to get a good hotel). Thanks!

If you can get the Hilton beach hotel for that kind of price it would be the best hotel at the beach for that price. However, It is about 6-8 blocks to anything other than pricey hotel restaurants. Are your in-laws good walkers? If so, it would be perfect. The hotels in the middle of everything cost more and are Marriott Beach Place and Ritz Carlton and a little further is the more moderate Courtyard Marriott. The Bahia Mar is not quite as nice but is in your price range and is about the same distance from the center as Hilton. If you want the greatest off-beach location it is the Riverside Hotel, downtown in the middle of the historic Las Olas shopping and dining district. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
