holiday addict Posted June 7, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 7, 2011 Our cruise is getting much nearer now, and I am wondering about whether we will have black and white, or tropical themes, or is this tied up in the formal evenigs or semicasual? Iam confused!
posh fan Posted June 7, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 7, 2011 I expect there will be 3 formal nights, 3 semi-formal nights and 6 smart casual nights on your cruise. The black and white night normally coincides with a formal night: Men may wear a black shirt and a white tie (to ring the changes) with their tuxedo for example, and a lady could well wear a white sparkly top with a long black skirt. On semi-formal nights I wear a linen jacket, I bought from Matalan for £45, with normal trousers; and my wife wears a normal length 'dressy' dress. Fancy dress nights are entirely optional, but a list of these (if any) will be available at the same time as the list of excursions. Hope this is of help, Hugh.
