"Rick Meadows is the face of Seabourn as Seabourn Quest is introduced to travel agents and media in Europe. But his No. 2, John Delaney, is also very prominent in a newly created role as the senior dedicated brand executive for Seabourn under Holland America Line". As Meadows indicated, Delaney additionally brings revenue skills, technology savvy and analytical expertise. In the last 2.5 years as vp revenue marketing for HAL, he was responsible for forecasting and budgeting of cruise fare revenue, direct marketing communications and the company’s loyalty program. He reported ‘nice comments’ from agents on Seabourn Quest about the sales and marketing transition to HAL, particularly the new access to POLAR Online. And he noted Seabourn.com has been entirely rebuilt, with more robust content and the ability to input myriad guest preferences. The Siebel customer relationship management tool will also be vital as Seabourn forges its new loyalty scheme.
