Taxis

Hi!

 

My husband, 18 month old son, MIL, friend and myself will be going to Nachi when we are in Cozumel. I was wondering if we will need to get 2 seperate cabs or can son sit on our lap in the taxi (not sure if cabs in Cozumel have seatbelts)?

The van cab we too to Nachi in April had seat belts tied into knots - obviously not used in a long time.:( The cab we too back to the ship had functioning seat belts, so I guess it's luck of the draw.

 

If you are comfortable with him on your lap no one in Mexico will stop you; if you bring along a car seat just let the taxi expediter assigning groups to cabs that you need a cab with at least one set of working seat belts - and tip the driver a few $$ for the time spent installing and uninstalling the seat. :cool:
