Parking at Galveston Port

Does anyone know about parking at the Galveston Port? The cost?

If I remember right, it's $9.00 per day. I've heard that there are some motels in Galveston who will letyou park for free if you stay there a night before or after the cruise. They will drop you off at the cruise teminal the day your cruise leaves, but I don't know about getting picked up afterwards. I'm sailing out on 3-20-05 on the Elation, so I'm going to search the threads to see if I can find out which motels offer this free parking (I saw the information on this board a little over a year ago.)

Are you sailing on NCL? If you are, the ship does not sail out of Galveston, it sails from Houston.

Niya, you are exactly right. I am sailing out of Houston. We were considering a cruise out of Galveston and I have the two confused. I guess I need to put a new posting.

If you are sailing on the SEA the parking costs $49.oo for the week. They do require cash. Gary o.
