Westin Hotel

WE are staying at the Westin hotel in Seattle the night before our cruise. Does anyone know if there is a liquor strore around there? Would rather not have to check our baggage on the airlines with alcohol in them.

There's one about five or six blocks north of the hotel.

a few blocks down virginia street right near the waterfront you will find pikes place market and pike & western wine merchants.

The nearest liquor store is probably the one at 7th and Bell Street (2300 7th Avenue).

 

Pike & Western Wine Merchants is also close by, and a great wine shop, but that's all they sell--no hard liquor. The State of Washington, in its infinite wisdom, chooses to reserve that privilege for itself. The state liquor stores close relatively early, and many (including the one above) are closed on Sundays--so you may need to plan accordingly.

I work near the hotel and cycle by the liquor store every day. The distance/time is accurate.
