Free Parking at Southampton

We've booked a cruise on the Independence - our 4th time on this ship. We have always had free parking at Southampton before but it is not free this time. Out of interest, does anyone know if they have stopped it completely or if its just on certain cruises? We've always been on in the summer before but this time we are going in April.

I booked with a travel agent and was about 3 days too late to get the free parking deal. I've now booked a hotel with 14 days parking included. It works out cheaper than paying the port for 14 days parking too! :D
