Puffinater Posted June 14, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2011 Where would you suggest as the best place to stop on 7 mile beach? Thanks.
bagelmom6 Posted June 17, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 17, 2011 We went to Royal Palms a couple of weeks ago and absolutely loved it. It was really our favorite day of the cruise. The water was gorgeous and just the right temp and the sand was beautiful and not too hot. Our 4 y.o. DD had the time of her life there. There weren't a lot of waves so she was able to swim by herself (with her life jacket of course) and the sand was perfect for building sand castles. I would love to go back there. pupskate Posted June 18, 2011 #3 Share Posted June 18, 2011 Hi, Is Royal Palms just a "walk on" beach day, or can you pay the hotel for use of their amenities for the day? How far is it from where the tender brings you ashore? Thanks? :)
bookbabe Posted June 18, 2011 #4 Share Posted June 18, 2011 Royal Palms is a beach bar and restaurant, not a hotel. There's no fee to use the facilities. Rental chairs, umbrellas and watersports are also available. They don't allow outside food/drink, however. It's about 10 minutes or so by taxi from the port area. There are dozens of threads here in this forum with details, pictures, reviews, etc. of Royal Palms and the other popular areas of Seven Mile Beach like Sea Grape or Tiki Beach.
