Schplinky Posted June 14, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2011 Would like a place with loungers, a bar and not a million people. Anyone have any thoughts? We'd also prefer to book through a private company, as opposed to the ship.
Will in sunny FL Posted June 16, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 16, 2011 Look up the site for Coral Breeze Tours & check out their trip to Banister Island. This sounds like it is a trip made for you. Enjoy Belize. Bill in FL

Will in sunny FL Posted June 16, 2011 #4 Share Posted June 16, 2011 Or go to Caye Caulker with CB, spend the day mooching around the caye & return with them to the Tourist Village. Bill in FL
Schplinky Posted June 16, 2011 Author #5 Share Posted June 16, 2011 Is there a water taxi that would just take us to Bannister Island?
Will in sunny FL Posted June 17, 2011 #6 Share Posted June 17, 2011 There is a water taxi quite near the Tourist Village, or you could go with Coral Breeze from inside the TV & get off on Caye Caulker & the snorkelers would go back out for their two snorkel stops & return to Caye Caulker for lunch & when thru their lunch, you would ride back to the TV with Coral Breeze. The regular water taxis do not go to Bannister. I thought that Coral Breeze did ? Bill in FL

We've done that before and just want the beech.
marshhawk Posted June 25, 2011 #8 Share Posted June 25, 2011 If you don't need the beach loungers, tag along with the snorkelers to Goff's Caye. You don't need to snorkel and there is a bar there, no big crowd, but no loungers.
Will in sunny FL Posted June 25, 2011 #9 Share Posted June 25, 2011 Check out the Coral Breeze Tours site as they also provide a nonsnorkeling trip only, to & from Caye Caulker for a bit more that the water taxi & you get their boat from inside the Tourist Village. Enjoy Belize Bill in FL
