Smoking on the liberty

For anyone who is interested, I just received this

info from my PVP in regards to my upcoming cruise

Sept 3rd.

 

1). You can smoke in the Dance Club:

Name: Hot & Cool

Location: Promenade Deck 5 - midship

2). Select Areas in the Casino & Casino bar:

Name: The Promenade Bar

Location: Promenade Deck 5 - midship

3). You can also smoke on all the open decks on the starboard side and on your balcony and stateroom (after 12/1 – no more smoking in rooms).

4). As far as the Jazz lounge goes on the Liberty, they alternate the location on every sailing so I can’t pin point an exact location for you but once you board you will be able to see the designated smoking areas.

I think the OP was just clarifying the rules for the Liberty in particular :)

I also just clarified with John Heald that the new non-smoking room rule actually starts on the November 26th cruise, which is mine. I asked because the new rule would have went into effect more than half-way in to the cruise.

It's still in effect, but I guess for cruises before that, it changes at the beginning of the cruise. It would have changed 4 days into our cruise.

That's awesome news. We'll be on the December 3rd cruise. I was wondering if we would be the first cruise with the new rules. If it starts the cruise before, then we can be pretty certain to have a smoke free cabin. :) Hurray!
