Hey everybody, I was just wondering if the platinum laundry benefits applied to the entire stateroom of the platinum member or just the member his/her self? Thanks

It applys to the platinum member however you fill the bag with what you want they wont know if you slip in a pair of socks or shirt from a roommate.;)

DW and I are platinum and our son shared our cabin with us last year and his clothes somehow found its way into our laundry bag and no problem.

On our last two sailings as Platinum, we used it every day for my entire family of five, even though DH and I are the only ones Platinum. Bag was filled, itemized and PLATINUM written on the ticket.

You can ask for as many laundry bags as you think you'll need. You only get one canapé tray and one petite four tray even if two are platinum in the same cabin. That's about one too many of those!!;)

 

You get two plat gifts.

We send out laundry every other day but can do it daily if you want.

On our first platinum cruise we had one cabin (both of us platinum) - got one laundry bag, one canape, one petit fours - but two gifts, two sets of stationery. Second platinum cruise (two cabins, one platinum in each of the cabins with one child) got one of everthing in each cabin.

Just be careful what you send in your bags... I have had items that were returned 2 sizes smaller than I sent them & it wasnt because I had been visiting the buffet:D Now I only use it for items that i know will not shrink or I dont care if they shrink...

 

I also send darks one day and whites the next because everything seems to go into the same bag and your whites may come out dingy if they are washed with the darks

The general consensus about how many canapes/petit fours is how many unrelated passengers are in the cabin. When DH, DH & I are in the same cabin we only get one of each, But when I cruise with Mom & Sis we get two of of each tray.

Of course when Mom, Sis & I cruise together it is on a four-day so we end up getting- two platters of strawberries (Sis & I) and a deluxe gift basket (Mom) from the casino and then two trays of petit fours. We bring it all to dinner and try to share with others.

 

If you need another laundry bag your room steward will provide it for you.
