Floppydog Posted June 17, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 17, 2011 We are on Balmoral from 1st August with a two day stay in Rouen. We'd like to visit Paris by ourselves on the first day (so there's no rush to get back to the ship!) I understand there is a high speed rail link from Rouen. Anyone done this before and could offer some tips?
LaCroisiereS'amuse Posted July 10, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 10, 2011 Try http://www.raileurope.co.uk This is the French Railways (SNCF) UK website & they also have a travel shop in central London. Rouen is on the high speed TGV network, but not to Paris, as the regular TER trains only take 90 minutes or so.

leagle Posted July 24, 2011 #4 Share Posted July 24, 2011 This is a more independent rail site. I have been told that raileurope is more expensive than it needs to be. http://www.seat61.com/France.htm
