stool/chair assist for tub/shower cabin 920 Mariner

Recommended Posts

Our regent advisor had no answer to my ? so I'm hoping someone on the board has experienced this situation. I recently fractured my sacrum and am now getting over the surgery having PT. We are booked in Nov. on the Mariner for the Southern Passage. After looking at the layout of the ship, I discovered our cabin has not been converted to a walk-in shower. The lady did tell me they could bring a stool whereby one could swing their legs over the side of the tub to get in. Of course, I have no way of knowing what my mobility will be at that point in time but I don't think I'll be able to sit in the tub except if there is a chair attached to the stool she mentioned. Any ideas as to what the configuration of this device might be?

Thanks.....Patty
