Wildlife on Hawaii Cruise

This is our first Hawaii cruise from San Diego in October 2011. We are wondering if any wildlife may be visible between San Diego and Hawaii?

You are unlikely to see any sealife at sea....perhaps a flying fish or two...maybe a dolphin...but don't count on it. Even for something as large as a whale, you'd have to be looking in just the right spot at just the right time.....the ocean is HUGE....

 

If anything is spotted, you'll likely hear about it, if you're outside...folks get excited and will tell everyone else!
