Victory- June 12 thru June 19

Recommended Posts

He was allowed to graduate, thank godness, but did not know for sure until the night before. In Texas, you can graduate missing one credit, if made up in summer school.

I was mainly bummed because we have very little opportunity to all be together. It was still an amazing trip though.

OMG ... I just booked for our November cruise. Gina responded in minutes to my email and she had only two spots left available for us. I think it's fate. Who'd think they'd be booked that far out but guess that says alot about their service. Can't wait.

Poffles - what date in November? We're in the 11/6 sailing of the Victory and our group has 8 spots booked with them. Are you going to be on with us?

Plenty of shade available. Approximately the rear third of the boat was shaded by a large cover. Plenty of space for sun as well. It's a fairly large boat, but only takes 12 per trip.

Like I said, have done both Silvermoon and this one. Silvermoon was a nice day and would beat the heck out of a ship tour, but they honestly could not compare.

This one wins out on every level. The food, the space, the attentiveness of the crew. The turtles even hung around longer.

Either way, enjoy your trip!

I guess we are! That's the cruise we are on too, small world. Booked this for Nov 9th. I was wondering if the others would be a big group together. Can't wait. Never been on anything like that before. Me and my friend are beyond excited about it. So looks like you have us two adult women joining you :) It's like fate reading this report and her mention of this excursion. The one through Carnival just wasn't of interest, too many people on one boat. Checked out Silvermoon but didn't like that they would ding your credit card immediately for 50% so we didn't know what we were going to do.

Howdy and Cra-Z-2cruise, all I can say is thanks ever so much for your great and wonderful pictures and review.

We are LoneStarCruisinCouple,Lisa and Gary from Sugar Land,Texas and we shall be sailing on The Victory in September with Cespo. Our group

In The Caribbean

After looking at your review I am so very glad that I booked way back in December for sailing with Gina and The folks of The Calabaza, and like you said Gina is just so very sweet and so very attentive to her e-mails. We have booked for some of us in our Cruise Critic group and will be sailing with14 folks on board. You snooze you loose as there are 40 of us that are with Cruise Critic so far on this cruise 9/4-9/11,2011.

We as well are staying at The Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino and at present I think that there is 19 of us that shall be staying there. We have a corner room booked as we wanted the two balconies one overlooking the Ocean and one overlooking the Pool.

Seeing that we are getting there a couple of days early we are booked with Castillo on The Bare Foot II for a day of Snorkeling on Friday and can't wait as to start taking our own photos like you have posted. On Saturday I have made reservations for about 25 of us to go and have a Pre-Cruise Dinner at The Parrot Club in Old San Juan.

To get our cruise Started off on The Right Foot we are hosting an Asti-Chocolate Covered Strawberry Sail Away Party in Our Cabin. We have an Aft Wrap Balcony and also have another couple that is in the group Sgt.Jeff next door and our balconies connect so we shall have one great big balcony on The Starboard side of the ship as we sail out of San Juan.

So many things that we have planned for our trip as in Saint Thomas we have a private tour with Henry Christopher of Triple EEE Tours,Tuesday I'm sending Lisa to The Spa for a couple of hours while we are getting things ready for our Private Cocktail Party in The Piano Bar with Entertainment. Sort of our own Cruise Critic Meet and Greet and shall be exchanging gifts as all are bringing a gift from their home state, Barbados and a day on The Calabaza and that evening we have booked the whole Chef's Table for our group. Only 14 Can come so once again if you snoozed you lost out. In Saint Lucia we have a private tour with Spencer Ambrose and just can't wait. Saint Kitts well this is why we cruise in September as this will be our 23rd Wedding Anniversary and I have arranged with Roger one of the owners of a Restaurant there called Spice Mills as to have a Beach Anniversary Party for us along with a Steel Drum Band and The Day Beds and all The trimmings along with a Cake and Drinks on Cockleshell Beach. In Saint Martin well I have booked on The Golden Eagle as to take a Catamaran Snorkeling cruise so we shall see what we shall see as this is with Carnival.

Like you Lisa and I are so very excited and we have made shirts and T's and Tank Tops with our Logo and have a cruising banner and well we are just so ready for this cruise. Very uncanny as I see that you are an RN and Lisa is a Neo Nurse Practitioner down at Texas Children's Hospital and also On The Kangaroo Flight Team. Lucky me as retired from Continental and now at Bass Pro Outdoor World In Katy.

Thanks once again for the review as our bags are packed and we are so ready to get the heck out of Dodge.

Lone Star

:)

Thanks so much for your review. I have to wait a whole year for this cruise!! She was my very first ship and I can't wait to sail her again. Your review was outstanding. Thanks for taking the time. At least I will have time to save up for a great camera. My mom, sister, and myself are going to split the cost as we only cruise with each other that way we can get outstanding memories.:p

It will be a great day. We're a group of 8 adults but some of us don't know each other yet. Friends of friends thing. We never do ship excursions so if we booked it, you can be sure it's a tried and true good time and reputable company.

We'll look forward to spending the day together!

She told me the same thing!! Only 2 spots left, but then next email she said some people had canceled. Oh well. I still booked regardless, because of all the great reviews I've read about Calabaza.

OP, Thank you so much for the review!! Much appreciated! :) Sorry to hear about your camera though :(
