Texana Posted July 8, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 8, 2011 Yes, we got referrals as onboard credit through a travel agent. Don't know if the same works when you book with AMA direct..
H2Otstr Posted July 8, 2011 #3 Share Posted July 8, 2011 I'm almost certain that you can get a discount through a TA, but not directly with AMA. We did get a discount on the tour that we took to Portugal.
sands28 Posted July 8, 2011 #4 Share Posted July 8, 2011 Many TAs offer 5-15% rebates or discounts on bookings of river cruises. The amount depends on their commission. Unfortunately, Cruise Critic does not allow us to tell you which ones discount. I would suggest that you go to the TA's websites and/or give them a phone call.
