Robrph Posted March 20, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2005 What kind of credits or perks can I expect when pre-booking while on board Celebrity? I've been told any reservation can be changed later for a different date or even different itinerary, or even to a Royal Caribbean cruise. How much deposit is required? Would appreciate any feedback from those who routinely pre-book. Thanks
tuggers Posted March 20, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 20, 2005 Deposit is $250 to $450 per person depending on length of cruise. Onboard credits range from $50 to $200. You are right about all your other statements. Just make sure any change still carries the original booking number as that's where the onboard credits are attached. It's the only way to go!!! superjerryw Posted March 20, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 20, 2005 The onboard credit will be adjusted if you change to a cruise of a different length. For example, it you book a 7 day cruise you will get a credit of $100. If you switch to a 10 day cruise the credit will be increased to $200. Similarly, the credit will be reduced if you switch to a shorter cruise.
mari10 Posted March 20, 2005 #4 Share Posted March 20, 2005 We booked while onboard and for a seven day cruise you get a $100 shipboard credit. We paid a $500 deposit because we wanted to reserve a specific cabin. Mari
