Rum unique to Barbados?

I am looking to find rum that is unique to Barbados, one that cannot be purchased anywhere else. So far I am finding that Mount Gay's, Malibu's, St. Nicholas Abbey's products can be found in US and/or UK, or even online, and I was hoping for something truly unique. Thank you :)

IMHO, Mt. Gay 1703 is the best, if you can find it and afford it.

Otherwise, Mt. Gay XO (Extra Old) is my second choice.

You don't have to look any further, trust me. ;)

It's not available for sale at Mt. Gay visitor center gift shop?

Thank you for all the responses.

What about Mount Gilboa Rum (can't pinpoint whether it's a separate venture or a part of Mt. Gay family) or Old Brigand 10-year old (I found out that R. L. Seale & Co., Ltd. does offer tours, but I can't find directions or hours for them)?

Maybe

I don't know if Allen still has any of the 2009 1703 left (the best!).

If he does, it will be US$100-200/lt.

The XO is almost always available at the gift shop and around town for 1/3 of that price.

Stop at a rum shop and try them all. :)

Thank you. Who's Allen?

What about rum in general in Barbados? Is selection / prices any better in distilleries themselves versus stores in Bridgetown?

If XO is the Extra Old - I bought a small bottle (375ml) at the port store for around $10 or so.
