Hotel Talyot Majorca?

Recommended Posts

We're staying at the Talyot after our cruise on the Dream. [5 sleeps to go!!!] Does anyone know if we need to take beach towels for the hotel part of our holiday? Ours are so heavy when it comes to packing. We could possibly buy a couple of cheap ones in Majorca I suppose as we won't be round the pool every day.

Seems to be a friendly hotel, bit worn round the edges - aren't we all - any info from anyone?

is that the one in Cala Bona/ Cala millor, rosie?

Haven't stayed there, but when in Cala Bona a couple of years ago, we popped in to take a quick look as I thought the look and location of it were very good. It's in a great position for the beach at Cala Millor in the daytime, and the nightlife of Cala Bona!

Only saw the foyer, really, but seemed very nice.

Hi Kate52

That's the one. The position is the reason we went for this hotel. We stayed at Cala Bona a couple of years ago and loved being able to walk between the two resorts. We're just looking for somewhere to really chill out after a busy week cruising. Didn't want to be in a large all singing and dancing hotel full of children. [Two retired teachers here!]

Great little hotel. A bit dated but the rooms are clean and quite large. Food is very good. You get allocated a table in the restaurant and thats yours for your stay. Pool is very small but adequate. Good thing about this hotel. You can stroll down to the pool at 10am and still get a bed. No Sunbed dashes at silly oclock in the morning. Great location. You need your own towel. But best buy a cheapo one or just use one from the room. We did and no-one said anything. Nice indoor pool and spa also.

Have Fun
