Frankie Sue Posted June 28, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 28, 2011 I know that this question has been asked and answered many times, but I can't find the information. So here it goes: we are planning on doing the NA back to back (14 days total) this coming year. So what do you have to do during turn around day in Fort Lauderdale. How long before you can reboard the ship if you do not want the day in Ft Lauderdale and what formalities do you have to go through? Thanks for answering again. Krazy Kruizers Posted June 28, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 28, 2011 The day before your get back to Ft lauderdale you will get a letter explaining what to do. The letter will tell you where to meet and what time to be there to be escorted off the ship - usually someone from the front office. The time is usually around 9:30. The places have varied on our cruises. Your ID card should already be programmed for both cruises. When you are escorted off the ship -- be certain that you take your passport with you AND the Intransit Cards that you get the day before in your letter. You will go down to the luggage area when the immigration people are -- you will show your ID cards, Intransit Cards and Passports. Then you will be escorted back to the lounge area -- no one can get back onto the ship until the passenger count is down to "Zero". Sometimes we have waited only 15 minutes -- most times it has been 1/2 hour to 1 1/2 hours. An agent will tell you all when you can reboard the ship.
