Beach in Split - Not Bacvice

We will be visiting Split on a Sunday in August. We want to visit a beach in the afternoon. We do not want to go to Bacvice Beach as I'm afraid it will be too crowded. We like a little more peaceful, but sandy beach.

 

Any advice?

It's difficult to find any privacy at the beaches in August. The only alternative would be Bene beach. You can go there with local bus No. 12, the bus station is at Zvoncac (Zvon-cha-tz) - 10 minutes walk to the west, Marjan hill direction.

Thank you. We may just try Bacvie Beach first. If that is too busy, then we have another option in Bene Beach.
