Now that our trip is completed .... all I can say is - It was the very best trip we have ever been on .....WOW !!! - Great Cruise, Great Crew, Great Ports, Great Food, and the other people we met along the way were wonderful !!!

We can relate to your comments. We just got back from the Christmas-New Years cruise from Nuremburg to Budapest on the Empress which was the cruise just after yours. This was our sixth Uniworld cruise and was the best so far. The cruise director, Bart, was the best we've ever had. The captain was the friendliest and most approachable we've ever had; he was at every port talk and met all the returning excursions. As we've come to expect from Uniworld, the crew, service, and food were top notch. We can recommend this itinerary to everyone. It included an optional excursion to a New Year's Day concert in Vienna (not the Vienna symphony concert but one at the Hofburg palace which was just as good), a New Year's Eve gala in the Kinsky palace in Vienna, and a visit and cocktail reception hosted by one of the remaining Hapsburg princesses at her palace home.

We am very pleased that you had a good experiance on the Empress..... and that Bart was as great for your trip as he was for us. We am now a 100 % Uniworld fans, .... and hope to be able to afford another Riverboat Cruise next year somewhere.
