cb222 Posted July 6, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2011 Is Burgundy and Provence Oct. 30 to Nov. 6 a crazy, dumb mistake? If it is the only time we can go? Our first cruise. Thanks, cb

Thanks, cb No problem if you can handle the cooler weather, just take some warm clothes.
2DesertRats! Posted July 20, 2011 #3 Share Posted July 20, 2011 Did this itinerary with Uniworld 2 years ago, 1 week later in the year and (other than being a bit cold) had no real problems. Most of the the time we had pleasant weather and most stops were uncrowded. Enjoy!
WAOZ Posted September 20, 2011 #4 Share Posted September 20, 2011 What ship are you sailing? We are booked on MS Symphony, October 30th to Nov 6th. We are packing warm and going to do it in layers.
cb222 Posted September 21, 2011 Author #5 Share Posted September 21, 2011 We are on Uniworld's River Royale. We were booked in May, but had to cancel. Here's hoping we all get good weather. cb
Carhut Posted September 22, 2011 #6 Share Posted September 22, 2011 We did a river cruise last year starting Nov. 2, from Nuremburg to Budapest. We were prepared for cold weather, but was pleasantly surprised by really nice sunny weather the whole trip. We wore light jackets unzipped most of the time. We even ate outside at a restaurant in Nuremburg on Nov. 4. Well we had some brats and beer there. Southern France should be nice at the time of year you are planning to go. Have a wonderful time.
