clcjdn Posted October 14, 2015 #151 Share Posted October 14, 2015 Good to know! Thank you. I have heard some say that the casino drink card is something a player is given after a certain amount of play and then others say it is given when you get a casino at sea account/players card. Any idea which? Thanks again. I sail on breakaway on 01 Nov 15 You can earn the card on the ship with a certain amount of points or table play (not sure the number any longer). Other than that, if you book a cruise through CAS or with a land based casino voucher, any adults in your cabin should get the drink card. Keep in mind these guidelines are for the Base level drink on us (House) level. There are higher tiers with higher levels of play.

I read recently with their cruise price increases the covered drinks on the UBP are up to $15! Don't know if the pay as you go drink prices have risen too. wwwfla Posted October 15, 2015 #153 Share Posted October 15, 2015 So...we got a postcard from NCL Casino at Sea with a free cruise offer.... I checked it out online...blah blah blah....so, finally yesterday I called to get the details...............:o Of course the 'free' cabin was an inside stateroom and we would have to pay for taxes & fees (as expected).....I inquired about upgrading to a balcony....and the total, for 2, with taxes & fees would be approx $780!! And we can use our $250 cruise certificate too! (so, $530 today) (This would be for the EPIC in early Dec)...we would also have to fly to Miami (approx $600 r/t, or less for both of us).... So...for approx $1100 we can take a 7night cruise on the EPIC...I think that is a pretty sweet deal!! Of course my husbands' first question was 'how much to upgrade to a suite?'....But, I'll be happy with the balcony...(plus hubby gets $50 in free play)....:D We have until the end of July to decide.............(no brainer, right?) The only thing that is making my husband hesitant is the we just got back from a 4 day cruise (nyc to canada) and in Sept we are going on an 8 day cruise to Bermuda....so our 'cruise fund' account is pretty wiped out right now....BUT IT'S SUCH A GREAT DEAL!! There is always more GOOD deals than there is money! The casino drink card also includes a $5 credit towards any drink not covered by the card. So if you want to call brands, etc. ("Absolut and cranberry vs. "vodka and cranberry") you will get a $5 discount on that drink.

And that's a one time $5 off one drink or any drink you use it for during your time in the casino?
pcakes122 Posted October 15, 2015 #156 Share Posted October 15, 2015 It's $5 off any drink not covered by the casino house drink card (which only covers house liquor and two frozen drinks - Pina Colada & Strawberry Daquiri.) You will get the $5 credit on as many drinks as you can drink :D
