restaurants near westin hotel onthe beach

could someone sugest some nice restaurants near the hotel within walking distance for italian and seafood

 

and also for good music

Which Westin on the beach? Hollywood or Fort Lauderdale?

Most of the beachfront restaurants are so-so, especially the ones with live music. Casablanca Cafe is just 2 blocks away in a historic home...they have a live piano bar and very good food, including several seafood and pasta dishes...it's one of my favorite places. There is an Italian restaurant called Spazio less than a mile south that has live entertainment. I haven't eaten there...I've mostly heard good reviews from locals, but the trip advisor reviews aren't great. Lulu's Bait Shack in Beach Place has live bands and some seafood, mostly fried...it' basically a beach bar, so it is super casual. Coconuts is about a mile away...they have good seafood and are on a nice marina but there is no entertainment. The Ritz Carlton is about 5 blocks south and has a nice Italian restaurant, Via Luna.
