Bus to Eagle beach area

The bus terminal/station is at the end of the block where the cruise ships dock. Just ask the guard at the terminal entrance and he will point it to you.

The bus fare is $2.00 return. Just get a ticket for the ride back. They run every 20 minutes or so.

Here is the link for the bus schedule:

Thanks fisherlady! It appears that the buses only stop at Palm beach hotels. I wanted to go to Eagle beach. If we got off at the first hotel stop, Bushini Beach Resort, I assume we could walk back down to Eagle beach? I also have some information that there is a stone jetty at the end of Palm beach where there are no hotels where there is good snorkeling, so I assume we would be reasonably close to that area. Any further info you can give me?

We were dropped off @ Eagle Beach after our jeep tour...gorgeous beach...uncrowded, very relaxing. We had no trouble catching the "bushalte" back to the downtown terminal right across from the pier. Very easy and user friendly! There were multiple stops along the way.

Many taxis will stop and offer you service as you stand at the bus stop...the asking price for a cab was ~$9.00 from Eagle Beach to the pier...an OK deal if there are alot of you but @ $1.15 one way it was cheaper and more fun to mingle with the locals!!

cdncruiser- So in your experience, there were bus stops along Eagle beach? The bus schedule clearly states that buses do not stop at several named Eagle beach hotels and that the nearest bus stop is at the hospital, wherever that may be! I'd much rather take the bus if I can! Maybe the bus schedule that I read is not up to date.

There are bus stops up and down the road from Oranjested.

Get off at the bus stop at the corner by "Alhambra Casino" just tell the driver. They might consider that the hospital one but I think the Alhambra is one before.

From there look across the street you will see the casino and the Divi is there, then Casa Del Mar, adjoined to that is Aruba Beach Club and then Manchebo. Then Bucciti (sp). All the beaches are public, just bring your towels, you will find a spot and I own at ABC so its my favorite beach!!

Have fun.
