Telephone calling cards in Europe

I'm planning a short stay in Hamburg then moving on to Prague, and will appreciate any information on buying calling cards, as my Blackberry is not set up for international calls. Will I need a separate calling card for each country? Any info will help. Thanks.

You can buy a Sim Card for your a phone, good in 180 -200 countries, you buy minuites as you need them. Many have free incoming calls as well. Amazon has lots of these.

International SIM cards from Amazon may or may not work. Does your Blackberry have a SIM card slot? Is it an international model with the European frequencies? Is it "unlocked" (meaning that it will work on a carrier other than the one you use in the USA)? Even with all this, you might or might not have anything but phone service.

 

I am not downplaying the SIM cards sold by Amazon or anyplace else. I have one but you have to make sure you can actually use it in your Blackberry. It might be to your advantage to buy another phone for your trip.
