Czech Airlines

We are looking to book for the Dream departing in 3 weeks and notice that the flights are with Czech Airlines rather than the usual Thomson Airlines.

We've never had this before. Does anybody know why?

where are you flying from?

Is the airline CSA or TCX?

CSA is czech airlines and TCX is Thomas Cook.

Thomson use TCX for some flights from Norwich.

 

They probably have a shortage of capacity and just buy some in at short notice. this is common.

we went on the Dream early June and booked with Thomson by phone ,

when we questioned this (flight with Czech) lady said they sometimes do this ie lease out flights to other airlines

I was expecting an old Lancaster Bomber or similar , however it was a brand new Airbus.One word of warning do not buy any peanuts they are :eek: !!!!!!!!!!!

 

no meals on board but sarnis etc and drinks, we had delayed departure from Manchester but that was not the fault of the Airline

We are flying from Manchester. Lets hope we get a shiny new plane and not some old Skoda :)

Have flown with Czech Airlines a couple of time and have never had any problem, new planes and they are also the Czech Republics 'national airline' their equivalent of BA.

Well we booked with Cr---se D--ls and according the them, we're on a Thomson Airlines flight.

On an airline forum, Thomson Airways have leased the Airbus A320 to CSA for 5 years on the understanding the operate X amount of flight to build up capacity for Thomson Dream and Thomson Destiny cruises in the summer season of 2011 until Thomson take delivery of new 737-800's from Boeing later in the year
