BONIFACIO (CORSICA) wHAT TO DO?

we stop in bonifacio in Oct. Is there any special to do there. We can rent a car, walk or a take a tour. Any recommendation?

We are going to Corsica for 10 hours via cruise ship next month. Did you book any private tours?

We are going to Bonifacio in Sept. and I haven't found much info on Cruise Critic. It looks like a very beautiful place and it is esaily done on your own. Here is a good link I have found.

You might have better responses on the France forum. We stopped in Bonifacio back in 2006 and really enjoyed it. It's a tender stop so keep that in mind. We just wandered up to the old fort and did their self guided tour and had fun in the shops and had a nice lunch. Very relaxing and enjoyable day. There are some boat tours that you could book from the dock area, otherwise a ship excursion would probably be best if the town doesn't appeal to you.
